Our Brand: Quality and Innovation Made in Germany
For over 30 years, the MKT brand has stood for the highest quality and innovative fastening solutions made in Germany. As a specialist in anchors installed in concrete, we develop and produce a complete range for professional applications. Our high-performance products are delivered to customers worldwide.
All our products are manufactured at our facility in Germany, using raw materials sourced from Germany and neighboring EU countries. The high level of in-house production and supply chain security ensures reliable manufacturing and exceptional quality, allowing us to respond quickly and flexibly to customer requirements. Our goal is to deliver all catalog-listed products within three weeks.
Close collaboration with our customers is the foundation of our success. We understand their requirements and provide efficient solutions along with first-class technical support. Our proprietary design software, MKT Anchor Design, is freely available to planners and customers to help achieve optimal results for their projects.
Innovative solutions and modern manufacturing technologies enable us to actively shape technological progress and produce cost-effective products for our customers. We continually invest in product development and the expansion of our production site. Sustainable and resource-efficient manufacturing processes are a core part of our corporate philosophy. Our production facility, set to commence operations in 2025, was built to the highest energy standards and has been certified as exceptionally sustainable by the DGNB.
Our Team: Expertise and Commitment
At MKT Metall-Kunststoff-Technik GmbH & Co. KG, our employees are at the heart of our success. Today, more than 250 staff members work at our facility in Weilerbach, Rhineland-Palatinate. With expertise, passion, and a strong commitment to quality, they drive the development and production of our anchors.
In purchasing, product development, production, sales, customer service, as well as quality management and IT, dedicated professionals work daily to ensure the reliable and timely delivery of our high-quality products. Just as diverse as the tasks are, so too are our employees; it is through openness that we succeed in attracting talent from various fields and remain an attractive employer.
Flat hierarchies and open communication define our corporate culture. Each team member contributes their expertise to the continuous development of the MKT brand. Through ongoing training and close collaboration with authorities and partners, we ensure that our products always meet the latest standards in construction and fastening technology.
Part of the assembly and packaging work is carried out by the Westpfalz Workshops, with whom MKT has maintained a long-standing partnership. These workshops employ people with disabilities, integrating them professionally and socially. Their work makes a valuable contribution to our success.
Our Management: Continuity and Foresight
For over three decades, MKT Metall-Kunststoff-Technik GmbH & Co. KG has been one of the leading companies in the anchor industry. At the helm of the company is an experienced management team, now in its second generation, guiding the business with strategic foresight and deep industry knowledge.
Lore Weustenhagen, together with her brother Hans Warnke, founded the company in 1990. Since then, she has led MKT with entrepreneurial intuition and vision, building it into one of the major manufacturers of fastening technology. Her focus on quality, safety, and continuous development has shaped the MKT brand and secured its strong market position.
Since 2015, Stefan Weustenhagen has strengthened the management team in the second generation. With over twenty years of experience at the company, he is familiar with all areas—from development and production to technical support. His efforts focus on modernizing production processes and expanding the product portfolio to meet the growing demands of the construction and fastening industry.
Also joining the management team in 2015 is Hubert Kaiser, who had previously served as MKT’s long-standing Head of Sales. With his extensive industry expertise, he plays a key role in the company’s strategic development, driving the expansion into new market segments and the internationalization of the business.
