Since its foundation in 1990, MKT Metall-Kunststoff-Technik GmbH & Co. KG has continuously developed and set milestones that have made the company a leading supplier in the field of fastening technology. From humble beginnings with just four employees in a former car workshop, MKT has developed into a major player on the market. Through innovation, commitment and a clear focus on quality, MKT has steadily expanded and achieved numerous successes. History
Grand opening of the new production site “Quellenstraße”. During relocation while production was ongoing, a total of about 1,500 tons of machinery were moved. MKT invests EUR 30 million in the new site and now operates the most sustainable production facility in Germany.
Phased commissioning of the new location in Weilerbach with 15,000 m² of additional production space. The building is built to highest energy standards and certified as particularly sustainable by the DGNB.
Three key products have now also been tested and evaluated for dynamic loading.
Groundbreaking for a new, 15,000 sqm production building at the Weilerbach location.
MKT receives a European approval for an anchor system that is suitable for anchoring fatigue loads (dynamics) (VMZ dyn).
