The MKT EASY hollow-core anchor, available in zinc plated steel and stainless steel A4, is specifically designed for modern construction applications. Its expansion cone is firmly connected to the expansion sleeve and is only released from the anchor sleeve when the screw or nut is tightened, pulling it into the sleeve. This mechanism causes the anchor to expand, ensuring secure anchorage both in the void and in the solid sections of prestressed hollow-core slabs. Installation can be carried out either from below (ceiling) or from above (floor).
For use under seismic loads, the EASY hollow-core anchor has been independently tested under cyclic loading conditions. An assessment for seismic performance category C1 in accordance with EAD 33232 confirms its suitability for seismic applications. This makes the EASY ideal not only for use in earthquake prone regions, but also for fixing particularly vibration-sensitive components, such as in data centers.
The EASY anchor in its zinc-plated version is designed for indoor applications and is available with internal thread in sizes M6, M8, M10, and M12. In addition, the stainless steel version EASY A4 is available in size M10 for use in humid indoor environments and outdoor atmospheres. The EASY is characterized by a low minimum drill hole depth; the required minimum slab soffit thickness is just 25 mm.
