The system enables reliable electrical isolation of the anchorage without the need to increase the drill hole diameter. Electrical isolation between the anchor rod and the base material over the entire embedment depth is achieved by specially developed plastic centering aids – a centering cap and a centering ring – which ensure that the anchor rod is precisely positioned in the center of the borehole.
For engineers, specifiers and contractors, the ETA-assessed MKT VME plus injection system offers a cost-effective and standards-compliant solution for applications requiring electrical isolation. As the drill hole diameter remains unchanged, the same ETA performance values apply as for standard applications, simplifying both design and installation.
