The MKT VZ-P resin capsule is a chemical capsule system for fixings in concrete and is one of the fastest-growing product categories in our portfolio. When combined with V-A anchor rods and VZ-IG internally threaded anchor rods, it forms the high-performance VZ chemical anchor, Made in Germany.
The VZ-P resin capsule is now available for externally threaded anchor rods from M8 to M30 as well as for internally threaded anchor rods from M6 to M16. The matching anchor elements are offered in a wide range of materials, including zinc-plated steel, hot dip galvanized steel, stainless steel A4, and high corrosion resistant HCR steel, making the system ideally suited for demanding applications in concrete construction.
Chemical anchors such as the MKT VZ system allow for particularly small edge distances and spacings. This enables fixings to be installed very close to concrete edges and corners without the risk of concrete spalling. At the same time, the system stands out for its simple, fast, and reliable installation without the need for extensive tooling, as well as for its short curing times—a clear advantage on the construction site.
The combination of high load capacity, installation safety, and versatility makes the MKT VZ-P bonded mortar capsule a highly valued solution among planners and users alike. In many projects, it is now regarded as a standard reference for chemical fixings in concrete. Accordingly, the system has recently been featured in the industry journals Fastener + Fixing and Bauproduktenzeitschrift bpz.
The MKT VZ-P resin capsule and the associated anchor elements are approved as the VZ chemical anchor by the ETA-20/0533. With a shelf life of 36 months and good availability through local distributors, the system is attractive for both small and large construction projects. Especially for high quantities, the VZ-P represents a cost-efficient chemical fixing solution and is also available in pre-assembled sets for guardrail fixings.
